These are the people behind the scenes who make it all happen.
Alan
Alan has been with the Hornsea Bike Show from day 1 in 2015 and was part of the original crew.
Now one of the Directors of the new Hornsea Events CIC and is the hands on one of the group.
Handling the to’s and fro’s of the barrier collecting, gazebos, tents, pegs, generators and all the heavy stuff, he keeps things flowing with the practicalities of the show.
Gareth
Director of Hornsea Events CIC and the one who keeps the legalities in check.
He is spreadsheet man and deals with all the applications, permissions, yays and nays, councils, insurance, road closures, you name it plus loads of other important stuff that keep the wheels turning.
He’s been a huge help at previous events that were put on as well over the years so knows his stuff.
Rachael
Also part of the original Bike Event many years back and is well in the know when it comes to bikes and how the show runs.
Her alias has to be Little Miss Organised and runs on lists and notebooks. Nothing is missed when it comes to even the smallest detail. It will be in her notebook somewhere.
John
Our techy who created the website and updates it keeping the news flowing and the tech side of things running smoothly.
Maps, online ticket orders and any gremlins in the works and he sorts it all out.
Andy
The ‘Newbie’ to the crew although plenty of experience in event planning. A general “Jack of all trades”, happy to carry out any tasks. Loves the challenge of the impossible! Our PA/Compere at the 2025 bike show.
